ARALD

Augmented reality applied to logistics

The ARALD project (Augmented Reality Applications in Logistic Domain), was born from the financing of the Abruzzo Region to a group of companies under the POR FESR 2007-2013.

The project has studied, developed and tested in the laboratory and in the field new technologies (Hw and Sw) that allow you to use the Augmented Reality (AR) to improve the current interface man - machine applications for indoor and outdoor logistics, with particular reference to storage operations and to the picking of goods.

The CTL collaborated on the study and validation of mathematical and statistical algorithms for locating logistics staff in indoor and outdoor environments and the development of software modules for navigation using the AR, thanks to the use of new devices (glasses and tablet).
