HUMANIST

The HUMANIST Virtual Centre of Excellence is the follow-up of the HUMANIST Network of Excellence project, funded by the European Commission.

It has been created in order to structure and organise the European Research in the domain of Human Machine Interaction and Human Factors applied to road Intelligent Transport Systems.

This objective is of importance at a time when Human Factors and Human machine Interactions are recognised both by industry and policy makers as key concepts for the development of innovative intelligent transport systems.

The Research Centre for Transport and Logistics (CTL) of "Sapienza" - University of Rome - is an official member of HUMANIST since 2013.
